Post Office – what Brexit means for your International Post

All large letters and parcels being posted to destinations other than the UK now require a customs form to be completed.

In the case of a parcel containing more than one item a detailed description of each item plus its weight and value needs to be recorded on the form.

There are two types of custom form

  • a standard international form, this will have a bar code
  • a tracked or signed international form with no bar code

For standard prepaid international large letters and parcels a barcoded customs form will still need to be completed.

In order to reduce queuing time customs forms may be collected and completed in advance.

Many thanks, the PO Team
