It is confirmed that HRH Prince Charles will officially open Uley Community Stores on Friday 22 February.
Everyone involved in setting up the store is immensely excited about the occasion which will symbolise the culmination of many months of planning, recruitment and refurbishment since the residents of Uley village took over the running of their local store in 2012.
The villagers are very proud of their shop and it’s fitting that Prince Charles who champions local endeavour, entrepreneurship and sustainability, and who lives nearby, should support the occasion.
